Nikon Coolpix S7c review
Nikon is back with its new model, the Nikon Coolpix S7c which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 24/8/06. This model measures 101 x 60 x 21 mm while weights 170 g. The Coolpix S7c delivers a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. It also supports a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Nikon Coolpix S7c is set at 4:3, making a total of 7.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Coolpix S7c is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix S7c with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 30 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Coolpix S7c was set at 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S7c includes an internal memory of 14 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Coolpix S7c diagonally measures 3.0 ".
