Nikon arrives this year with its new camera, the Nikon D70s which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in North America on the 20/4/05. The Nikon D70s will be sold for 961in North America, a great price for such a camera. The D70s offers a maximum resolution of 3008 x 2000. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2240 x 1488, 1504 x 1000. The ratio of the image on the Nikon D70s is 3:2, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the D70s is a CCD of dimensions 23.7 x 15.5 mm (Nikon DX) having a RGB color filter. The minimum shutter speed (min.
exposition to light) on the D70s was set at 30 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/8000 seconds. The LCD screen of the D70s is measuring 2.0 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
