Olympus C-3000 Zoom review
Olympus launches its new conception, the Olympus C-3000 Zoom which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown in the US on the 24/4/00. The Olympus C-3000 Zoom will be sold for 600in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. This nice camera measures 109 x 66 x 76 mm while weights 380 g. The C-3000 Zoom has for maximum resolution 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Olympus C-3000 Zoom is set at 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the C-3000 Zoom is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its C-3000 Zoom and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 80 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the C-3000 Zoom is 16 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/800 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus C-3000 Zoom has an internal storage space of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SmartMedia.
The LCD screen available on the C-3000 Zoom is measuring 1.8 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
