Olympus C-60 Zoom review
Olympus strikes back with its new camera, the Olympus C-60 Zoom which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 18/3/04. The Olympus C-60 Zoom will be sold for 189in the US, a great deal. This nice camera measures 99 x 56 x 41 mm while it weights only 230 g. The C-60 Zoom gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It also supports a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2272 x 1704, 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus C-60 Zoom is set at 4:3, making a camera of 5.9 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the C-60 Zoom is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its C-60 Zoom and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the C-60 Zoom is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Olympus C-60 Zoom includes an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card.
The LCD implemented in the C-60 Zoom is measuring 1.8 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
