Olympus D-545 Zoom review
Olympus strikes back with its new conception, the Olympus D-545 Zoom which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 17/2/05. This model measures 106 x 56 x 36 mm while it weights only 190 g. The D-545 Zoom can be set to a maximum resolution of 2288 x 1712. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus D-545 Zoom has been set at 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the D-545 Zoom is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the D-545 Zoom and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the D-545 Zoom is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus D-545 Zoom includes an internal memory of 14 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the D-545 Zoom measures 1.8 ".
USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To conclude, we truly think the Olympus D-545 Zoom makes a very attractive camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
