Olympus D-595 Zoom review
Olympus impresses with its new conception, the Olympus D-595 Zoom which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 17/2/05. The Olympus D-595 Zoom is sold at a price of 181in the United States, a great deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 105 x 61 x 36 mm while weights 190 g. The D-595 Zoom delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Olympus D-595 Zoom is set at 4:3, making a camera of 4.9 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the D-595 Zoom is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its D-595 Zoom with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the D-595 Zoom was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Olympus D-595 Zoom has an internal storage space of 14 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the D-595 Zoom diagonally measures 1.8 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. To summarize, we think the Olympus D-595 Zoom makes a great camera and we would encourage you to buy this great camera.
