Olympus FE-150 review
Olympus impresses with its new model, the Olympus FE-150 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown on the North American market on the 26/1/06. This model measures 90 x 55 x 25 mm and has for weight 175 g. The FE-150 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Olympus FE-150 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the FE-150 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Olympus included a digital zoom on the FE-150 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FE-150 is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-150 camera has an internal storage of 9 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the FE-150 diagonally measures 2.5 ".
A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. To conclude, we truly think the Olympus FE-150 makes a great camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this item.
