Olympus FE-170 review
Olympus presents its new camera, the Olympus FE-170 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 24/8/06. This model measures 90 x 63 x 31 mm and weights 175 g. The FE-170 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus FE-170 is set at 4:3, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FE-170 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its FE-170 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the FE-170 is 1/2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-170 has an internal storage space of 10 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the FE-170 is measuring 2.5 ".
