Olympus FE-200 review
Olympus launches its new camera, the Olympus FE-200 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 24/8/06. This model measures 98 x 59 x 27 mm and is weighting only 195 g. The FE-200 has for maximum resolution 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus FE-200 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the FE-200 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the FE-200 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The min. shutter speed of the FE-200 was set at 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus FE-200 includes an internal memory of 24 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen of the FE-200 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
