Olympus Stylus 300 Digital review
Olympus unveils its new conception, the Olympus Stylus 300 Digital which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 09/1/03. The Olympus Stylus 300 Digital is sold at a price of 105in North America, a very fair price. This model measures 99 x 56 x 34 mm while weights 220 g. The Stylus 300 Digital can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Olympus Stylus 300 Digital is 4:3, making a total of 3.1 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the Stylus 300 Digital is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 300 Digital with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Stylus 300 Digital is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 300 Digital camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card.
The LCD implemented in the Stylus 300 Digital measures 1.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
