Olympus strikes back with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 410 Digital which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in North America on the 12/2/04. The Olympus Stylus 410 Digital will be sold for 145in the US, a very fair price. This nice camera measures 99 x 56 x 34 mm while it weights only 200 g. The Stylus 410 Digital delivers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus Stylus 410 Digital is 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor on the Stylus 410 Digital is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 410 Digital and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 410 Digital was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Olympus Stylus 410 Digital has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with xD Picture Card.
