Olympus Stylus 725 SW review
Olympus arrives this year with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 725 SW which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 24/8/06. This nice little piece of technology measures 91 x 58 x 20 mm while it weights only 190 g. The Stylus 725 SW has for maximum resolution 3072 x 2304. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Olympus Stylus 725 SW is 4:3, making a camera of 7.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Stylus 725 SW is a CCD measuring only 1/2.3 " using a RGB color filter.
Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 725 SW and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 725 SW is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Olympus Stylus 725 SW includes an internal memory of 19 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card + Internal.
The LCD screen of the Stylus 725 SW measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
