Olympus is back with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 790 SW which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 23/8/07. The Olympus Stylus 790 SW will be sold for 287in North America, a great price for such a camera. It can also be set at a lower resolution of Ultra Compact. The sensor of the Stylus 790 SW is a CCD measuring only 1/2.3 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its Stylus 790 SW with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 790 SW is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus Stylus 790 SW has an internal storage space of 14.7 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Stylus 790 SW diagonally measures 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
