Olympus Stylus 840 review
Olympus presents its new model, the Olympus Stylus 840 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in the US on the 22/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Stylus 840 is a CCD which measures 1/2.35 " and uses a RGB color filter. Olympus included a digital zoom on the Stylus 840 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 70 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 840 is 1/2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 840 has an internal storage space of 14.8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Stylus 840 is measuring 2.7 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
