Olympus Stylus Verve Digital S review
Olympus arrives this year with its new conception, the Olympus Stylus Verve Digital S which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 17/2/05. This nice camera measures 95 x 56 x 28 mm and is weighting only 165 g. The Stylus Verve Digital S offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Olympus Stylus Verve Digital S is set at 4:3, making a total of 4.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Stylus Verve Digital S is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Olympus included a digital zoom on the Stylus Verve Digital S with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Stylus Verve Digital S is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus Verve Digital S has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card.
The LCD screen available on the Stylus Verve Digital S measures 1.8 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. To finish, we think the Olympus Stylus Verve Digital S is a great camera and we would encourage you to consider this item.
