Panasonic presents its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 21/5/07. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 will be sold for 369in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. It also supports a lower resolution of 3264 x 2448, 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Lumix DMC-FX100 is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.72 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic added a digital zoom on its Lumix DMC-FX100 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Lumix DMC-FX100 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 camera has an internal storage of 27 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Lumix DMC-FX100 measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
