Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 review
Panasonic unveils its new model, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced on the North American market on the 31/1/07. This nice camera measures 94 x 51 x 24 mm and has for weight 155 g. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The sensor on the Lumix DMC-FX12 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FX12 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-FX12 is 60 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 camera has an internal storage of 27 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Lumix DMC-FX12 is measuring 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
