Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX1 review
Panasonic impresses with its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX1 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in the US on the 02/10/03. The Lumix DMC-FX1 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 1920 x 1080 (16:9). The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX1 is set at 4:3, 16:9, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Lumix DMC-FX1 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic included a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FX1 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Lumix DMC-FX1 was set at 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX1 has an internal storage space of 16 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card. The LCD implemented in the Lumix DMC-FX1 is measuring 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
