Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX5 review
Panasonic strikes back with its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX5 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 02/10/03. The Lumix DMC-FX5 offers a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 1920 x 1080 (16:9). The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX5 has been set at 4:3, 16:9, making a camera of 4.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Lumix DMC-FX5 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic added a digital zoom on its Lumix DMC-FX5 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Lumix DMC-FX5 was set at 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX5 has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the Lumix DMC-FX5 diagonally measures 1.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
