Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 review
Panasonic arrives this year with its new model, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 24/7/07. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 is sold at a price of 399in North America, a very fair price. It can also be set at a lower resolution of SLR-like. The internal sensor on the Lumix DMC-FZ18 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Panasonic added a digital zoom on its Lumix DMC-FZ18 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 30 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-FZ18 was set at 60 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 has an internal storage space of 27 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Lumix DMC-FZ18 is measuring 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television.
