Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2 review
Panasonic presents its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 11/8/03. This nice little piece of technology measures 114 x 70 x 83 mm while it weights only 350 g. The Lumix DMC-FZ2 offers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2 is 4:3, for a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Lumix DMC-FZ2 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/3.2 " with a RGB color filter.
Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FZ2 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-FZ2 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The LCD implemented in the Lumix DMC-FZ2 measures 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
