Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 review
Panasonic launches its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 17/9/01. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 will be sold at a retail price of 900in the United States, no bad for all this technology. This nice camera measures 128 x 82 x 63 mm and is weighting only 435 g. The Lumix DMC-LC5 has for maximum resolution 2240 x 1680. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1120 x 840, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor on the Lumix DMC-LC5 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.76 " with a RGB color filter. Panasonic added a digital zoom on its Lumix DMC-LC5 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-LC5 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 has an internal storage space of 32 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card.
The LCD screen available on the Lumix DMC-LC5 measures 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
