Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 review
Panasonic is back with its new model, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 04/1/06. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 will be sold at a retail price of 189in the United States, a very interesting deal. This model measures 111 x 54 x 31 mm while weights 188 g. The Lumix DMC-LS2 offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 is set at 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the Lumix DMC-LS2 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-LS2 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-LS2 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 includes an internal memory of 14 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Lumix DMC-LS2 diagonally measures 2.0 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
