Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LS80 review
Panasonic strikes back with its new camera, the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LS80 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 21/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2176, 3264 x 1840, 2560 x 1712, 2560 x 1920, 2560 x 1440, 2048 x 1536, 2048 x 1360, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the LUMIX DMC-LS80 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Panasonic included a digital zoom on the LUMIX DMC-LS80 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the LUMIX DMC-LS80 is 60 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LS80 has an internal memory of 24 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the LUMIX DMC-LS80 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
