Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 review
Panasonic launches its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 04/1/06. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 is sold at a price of 207in the United States, a great deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 100 x 62 x 45 mm while weights 230 g. The Lumix DMC-LZ3 gets a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 1920 x 1080 (HDTV 16:9). The image ratio on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the Lumix DMC-LZ3 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic included a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-LZ3 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Lumix DMC-LZ3 is 60 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 has an internal memory of 14 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Lumix DMC-LZ3 diagonally measures 2.0 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
