Pentax EI-2000 review
Pentax unveils its new model, the Pentax EI-2000 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in North America on the 03/2/00. The Pentax EI-2000 is sold at a price of 900in the United States, a great price for such a camera. The EI-2000 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 800 x 600. The image ratio (width / height) on the Pentax EI-2000 is 4:3, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the EI-2000 is a CCD of dimensions 2/3 " having a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its EI-2000 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the EI-2000 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The Pentax EI-2000 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable by using Compact Flash. The LCD screen available on the EI-2000 measures 2.0 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
