Pentax *ist DL2 review
Pentax is back with its new camera, the Pentax *ist DL2 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 27/1/06. The *ist DL2 gets a maximum resolution of 3008 x 2008. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2400 x 1600, 1536 x 1024. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Pentax *ist DL2 is set at 3:2, for a total of 6.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the *ist DL2 is a CCD of dimensions 23.5 x 15.7 mm using a RGB color filter. The min. shutter speed of the *ist DL2 is 30 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds.
The LCD screen of the *ist DL2 measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. Briefly, we think the Pentax *ist DL2 makes a very attractive camera and we recommend our readers to buy this great camera.
