Pentax Optio 30 review
Pentax presents its new camera, the Pentax Optio 30 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 02/2/04. The Pentax Optio 30 was initially targeted at a retail price of 200in the United States, no bad for all this technology. The Optio 30 gets a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Pentax Optio 30 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Optio 30 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter.
Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio 30 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio 30 is 2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio 30 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio 30 diagonally measures 1.6 ".
