Pentax Optio 33WR review
Pentax unveils its new camera, the Pentax Optio 33WR which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled in North America on the 03/9/03. The Pentax Optio 33WR is sold at a price of 299in North America, a very interesting deal. The Optio 33WR can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1526. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Pentax Optio 33WR is set at 4:3, making a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Optio 33WR is a CCD which measures 1/2.7 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio 33WR with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Optio 33WR is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio 33WR includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the Optio 33WR measures 1.6 ".
