Pentax Optio 450 review
Pentax launches its new model, the Pentax Optio 450 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced on the North American market on the 18/2/03. The Optio 450 has for maximum resolution 2288 x 1712. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Pentax Optio 450 is 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Optio 450 is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio 450 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range is 60 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio 450 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio 450 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the Optio 450 is measuring 1.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
