Pentax Optio E10 review
Pentax impresses with its new camera, the Pentax Optio E10 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 03/1/06. The Pentax Optio E10 will be sold for 182in the United States, considered affordable for such a camera. The Optio E10 has for maximum resolution 2816 x 2112. It also supports a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Pentax Optio E10 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Optio E10 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio E10 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio E10 is 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio E10 has an internal memory of 10 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio E10 measures 2.4 ".
There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. Briefly, we think the Pentax Optio E10 makes a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this item.
