Pentax Optio E30 review
Pentax impresses with its new model, the Pentax Optio E30 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented on the North American market on the 03/1/07. This nice camera measures 95 x 62 x 35 mm and weights 190 g. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the Optio E30 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio E30 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio E30 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio E30 includes an internal memory of 11 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Optio E30 measures 2.4 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
