Pentax Optio S10 review
Pentax unveils its new camera, the Pentax Optio S10 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 23/8/07. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3072 x 2304, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the Optio S10 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/1.8 using a RGB color filter. Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio S10 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 35 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the Optio S10 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio S10 has an internal memory of 22 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio S10 is measuring 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
