Pentax Optio S12 review
Pentax presents its new model, the Pentax Optio S12 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 23/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 3648 x 2736, 3072 x 2304, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Optio S12 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.7 using a RGB color filter. Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio S12 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 35 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the Optio S12 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio S12 camera has an internal storage of 22 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio S12 is measuring 2.5 ". A video output is available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
