Pentax Optio S5z review
Pentax arrives this year with its new model, the Pentax Optio S5z which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 11/5/05. The Pentax Optio S5z will be sold for 166in the US, a great price for such a camera. The Optio S5z has for maximum resolution 2560 x 1920. It also supports a lower resolution of 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Pentax Optio S5z is 4:3, for a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the Optio S5z is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio S5z and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 40 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Optio S5z is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio S5z has an internal storage space of 9.3 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Optio S5z measures 2.5 ".
