Pentax Optio V10 review
Pentax unveils its new camera, the Pentax Optio V10 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented on the North American market on the 01/10/07. It also supports a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The sensor on the Optio V10 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.35 " with a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio V10 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the Optio V10 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio V10 has an internal memory of 52 mb extendable with SD/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio V10 is measuring 3.0 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
