Pentax Optio W30 review
Pentax strikes back with its new camera, the Pentax Optio W30 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 22/2/07. The Pentax Optio W30 is sold at a price of 276in the United States, no bad for all this technology. This model measures 108 x 54 x 24 mm and is weighting only 155 g. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the Optio W30 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio W30 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Optio W30 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio W30 includes an internal memory of 21.9 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Optio W30 is measuring 2.5 ".
