Pentax Optio WPi review
Pentax impresses with its new conception, the Pentax Optio WPi which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 31/8/05. The Pentax Optio WPi is sold at a price of 294in North America, a very interesting deal. The Optio WPi gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Pentax Optio WPi is set at 4:3, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Optio WPi is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio WPi with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio WPi was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio WPi has an internal storage space of 10.5 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Optio WPi measures 2.0 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we truly think the Pentax Optio WPi is a very interesting camera and we would encourage you to consider this item.
