Ricoh Caplio R30 review
Ricoh launches its new camera, the Ricoh Caplio R30 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 10/1/06. This nice little piece of technology measures 95 x 53 x 26 mm and has for weight 180 g. The Caplio R30 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1563, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Ricoh Caplio R30 is set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 4.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Caplio R30 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Ricoh included a digital zoom on the Caplio R30 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Caplio R30 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Ricoh Caplio R30 has an internal storage space of 28 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Caplio R30 is measuring 2.5 ".
There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
