Ricoh Caplio RR530 review
Ricoh impresses with its new conception, the Ricoh Caplio RR530 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented on the North American market on the 16/9/05. This model measures 91 x 27 x 61 mm and is weighting only 190 g. The Caplio RR530 delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1563, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Ricoh Caplio RR530 is set at 4:3, making a total of 4.9 mega pixels. The sensor of the Caplio RR530 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Ricoh implemented a digital zoom on the Caplio RR530 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 30 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Caplio RR530 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Ricoh Caplio RR530 includes an internal memory of 12 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Caplio RR530 diagonally measures 1.8 ".
