Ricoh GR Digital II review
Ricoh launches its new camera, the Ricoh GR Digital II which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in the US on the 30/10/07. It also supports a lower resolution of 3648 x 2432, 2736 x 2736, 3264 x 2448, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the GR Digital II is a CCD which measures 1/1.75 " having a RGB color filter. Ricoh implemented a digital zoom on the GR Digital II with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 30cm.
The min. shutter speed of the GR Digital II was set at 3 min seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Ricoh GR Digital II has an internal storage space of 54 mb and can be extended with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the GR Digital II diagonally measures 2.7 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
