Ricoh Caplio GX100 review
Ricoh presents its new model, the Ricoh Caplio GX100 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 28/3/07. This model measures 112 x 58 x 25 mm and weights 260 g. It also supports a lower resolution of 3264 x 2448, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Caplio GX100 is a CCD which measures 1/1.75 " using a RGB color filter. Ricoh implemented a digital zoom on the Caplio GX100 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 30 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Caplio GX100 is 180 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Ricoh Caplio GX100 camera has an internal storage of 26 mb extendable with external storage with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Caplio GX100 diagonally measures 2.5 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television.
