Ricoh RDC-200G review
Ricoh is back with its new conception, the Ricoh RDC-200G which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 29/6/00. The Ricoh RDC-200G has been launched at a price of 1000in the United States, no bad for all this technology. This model measures 144 x 88 x 72 mm while it weights only 500 g. The RDC-200G has for maximum resolution 1792 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 896 x 600. The image ratio (w/h) on the Ricoh RDC-200G is 3:2, for a total of 2.2 mega pixels. The sensor on the RDC-200G is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2 " with a RGB color filter.
Ricoh added a digital zoom on its RDC-200G and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 4 cm. The min. shutter speed of the RDC-200G was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/500 seconds. The Ricoh RDC-200G includes an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with SmartMedia + Internal. The LCD implemented in the RDC-200G is measuring 1.8 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To conclude, we think the Ricoh RDC-200G makes a great camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this great camera.
