Ricoh RDC-6000 review
Ricoh launches its new model, the Ricoh RDC-6000 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown in the US on the 25/2/00. The Ricoh RDC-6000 has been launched at a price of 500in the United States, no bad for all this technology. This nice camera measures 110 x 67 x 40 mm and has for weight 300 g. The RDC-6000 has for maximum resolution 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 800 x 600, 640 x 480,. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Ricoh RDC-6000 is 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The sensor of the RDC-6000 is a CCD which measures only 1/2 " with a RGB color filter.
Ricoh implemented a digital zoom on the RDC-6000 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The min. shutter speed of the RDC-6000 is 1/4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/500 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Ricoh RDC-6000 has an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SmartMedia + Internal.
The LCD screen available on the RDC-6000 diagonally measures 1.8 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
