Ricoh RDC-i700 review
Ricoh is back with its new camera, the Ricoh RDC-i700 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 06/9/00. The Ricoh RDC-i700 is sold at a price of 1200in North America, a very fair price. This model measures 157 x 93 x 33 mm while weights 450 g. The RDC-i700 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Ricoh RDC-i700 is 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the RDC-i700 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " using a RGB color filter.
Ricoh included a digital zoom on the RDC-i700 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 24 cm. The min. shutter speed of the RDC-i700 is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Ricoh RDC-i700 camera has an internal storage of 8 mb extendable with external storage with Compact Flash Type II + Internal.
The LCD screen available on the RDC-i700 is measuring 3.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
