Samsung presents its new camera, the Samsung Digimax A50 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 02/6/05. This model measures 107 x 59 x 36 mm and weights 185 g. The Digimax A50 delivers a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 2048 x 1704, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Samsung Digimax A50 is 4:3, making a camera of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the Digimax A50 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Samsung included a digital zoom on the Digimax A50 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm.
