Samsung Digimax 301 review
Samsung is back with its new camera, the Samsung Digimax 301 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 12/2/04. This model measures 98 x 51 x 38 mm and has for weight 137 g. The Digimax 301 gets a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Samsung Digimax 301 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the Digimax 301 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. Samsung added a digital zoom on its Digimax 301 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range is 10 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Digimax 301 is 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Samsung Digimax 301 has an internal memory of 16MB Internal and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Digimax 301 diagonally measures 1.6 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
