Samsung Digimax 401 review
Samsung unveils its new conception, the Samsung Digimax 401 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced on the North American market on the 12/2/04. This nice camera measures 98 x 51 x 38 mm while it weights only 137 g. The Digimax 401 has for maximum resolution 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Samsung Digimax 401 is 4:3, making a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Digimax 401 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Samsung added a digital zoom on its Digimax 401 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Digimax 401 is 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Samsung Digimax 401 includes an internal memory of 16MB Internal and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Digimax 401 measures 1.6 ".
