Samsung Digimax V4 review
Samsung impresses with its new model, the Samsung Digimax V4 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in North America on the 10/2/03. This model measures 106 x 55 x 38 mm and has for weight 210 g. The Digimax V4 gets a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1120 x 840, 544 x 408. The image ratio (width / height) on the Samsung Digimax V4 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Digimax V4 is a CCD which measures only 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter. Samsung implemented a digital zoom on the Digimax V4 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Digimax V4 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The LCD implemented in the Digimax V4 is measuring 1.5 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
