Samsung Digimax i6 review
Samsung arrives this year with its new camera, the Samsung Digimax i6 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced on the North American market on the 03/1/06. The Samsung Digimax i6 will be sold at a retail price of 256in North America, considered affordable for such a camera. The Digimax i6 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It also supports a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2272 x 1704, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Samsung Digimax i6 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 6.0 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the Digimax i6 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Samsung added a digital zoom on its Digimax i6 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Digimax i6 was set at 16 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Samsung Digimax i6 includes an internal memory of 45 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the Digimax i6 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
